New research from EWG and BLK + GRN finds that personal care products marketed to Black women still contain higher levels of hazardous chemicals compared to products without demographic marketing. While some improvements have been made since EWG’s 2016 report, many hair relaxers, moisturizers, and cosmetics still contain ingredients linked to cancer, hormone disruption, and respiratory issues.
